WOW..... what talented artists we have!

The Year 5 children have had an amazing day devoted to art, with the focus on our mystery artist...Pablo Picasso! 

The children loved going through our pop up art gallery, exploring and discussing his art work and what sets them apart from other pieces they have seen. We then spent the entire morning doing a guided activity where we made cardboard Picasso heads. Then in the afternoon, we spent time explring how to create his style using a variety of mediums. All of this was done with the assistance of our lovely parents so thank you very much and coming to support the children. 

Have a look at our creations - these will be part of our very own St Alban's art gallery which will be open to parents in February; more details will follow in the upcoming months.
