Homework Policy and Survey
Dear parents it has been a few years since St Alban's Reviewed their homework policy and I want to gather your views and work together to review the policy this term in place for September 2023.
We want to share what is best practice currently
Research on Homework in primary schools shows evidence that learning advances by up to 3 months.
This increases in secondary schools by up to 5 months.
This needs to be done well.
Please can you spend some time answering the homework survey and if you can spend time the school want to invite a group of parents as a focus group to shape the policy before going to the Governing Body for approval.
