“Love one another, as I have loved you”

Advent is a time for waiting and preparing for the birth of Jesus. During this special time we prepare through assemblies, prayer and liturgy and our Advent prayer focus area. Each class spends time talking about how we can be ready for Jesus and learning about the Advent Wreath and other traditions.

The Third week of Advent

During this week we lit the third candle symbolising JOY. We talked about the message that the angels shared with the shepherds and how we can also share the joy of Jesus.

On the fourth Sunday in Advent we lit the candle symbolising LOVE. We talked about our school mission 'Love one another as I have loved you', the love we share for one another and of course Jesus' love for all of us.
