School Street

St Alban's Catholic Primary School and Wirral Council worked together to trial a 'School Streets' scheme which has now become a permanent feature of our school. A School Street is a stretch of road outside of a school that is temporarily closed to traffic during school drop-off and pick-up times.

The roads that are closed to general traffic on Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am to 9:10am and between 3pm to 3:30pm are: 

Ashburton Road

Overton Road 

Acland Road

Liscard Grove

Furthermore, parking on Ashburton Road is for residents only, and we kindly ask that parents and/or guardians do not park on Ashburton Road at any time during the day. This is something beyond the school's control and any issues need to be raised with the local council.
