St Alban's Wraparound Care
We have lots of exciting and fun activities planned for our children ready for the year!
The children will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of activities including Forest School, team games, active sports, baking, arts & crafts and computer animation in a safe and familiar environment.
At Breakfast Club, the children can choose between toast or a range of cereals and fresh juice or water to get them ready for the day.
At our After School Club, the children will receive healthy snacks, fresh water/juice and fruit to fuel the afternoon's activities.
The children will learn new skills, make friends, stay active and healthy and have lots of fun!
Parents can book a space via our booking system on the School Spider ParentApp.
Booking System
Due to the popularity of the wraparound club, all bookings must be made in advance via the School Spider ParentApp before you require a booking. This is so we can ensure the correct child to adult staff ratio and our registers are up to date. We are not able to accept on the day bookings.
In order to ensure that your bookings are secured, balances must be paid at the time of booking to sync with the online system.
Once your child is enrolled at the school, a link will be emailed to you to sign up for School Spider. There is also a poster with a QR code with direct access to the app displayed on the Parents Information Board in the main entrance area.

Discounts and Childcare Choices
St. Alban’s are now accepting TAX Free Vouchers with Childcare Choices. You may be eligible for support with your childcare costs. Use the Childcare Choices calculator online to see what support may be available: https://www.gov.uk/childcare-calculator

There is also extra support for those who may be working for the NHS or studying with the NHS. If you are studying, please contact student finance to see if you are entitled to any childcare support.
If you wish to apply a voucher(s) to a transaction, please provide a screenshot of the voucher and the amount that is being paid to the school when processing your transaction. The school is not able to accept vouchers without seeing the evidence with the transaction.
Terms and Conditions
Please be aware of the following Terms and Conditions for booking with our wraparound provision:
All bookings need to be made before 6pm at the very latest the day before the date (s) that you require.
If you use our wraparound regularly, please ensure that you book the dates in advance to avoid any disappointment.
Dates for bookings are released on a termly basis e.g. Autumn Term, Spring Term and Summer Term.
To ensure the correct staff ratios, unfortunately we cannot accept on the day bookings.
Breakfast and After School Club require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all cancellations and/or refunds for all bookings. This also applies to any bookings made in error.
Parents and guardians are able to cancel bookings via their School Spider ParentApp accounts. However, if any bookings are cancelled within less than 48 hours notice, unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds. This also applies to any bookings made in error. Parents have the option to refund to their School Spider ParentApp accounts or refund to their original form of payment however, please be aware that there is an administration fee of £0.50 to process this. This administration fee is paid directly to School Spider and not to the school - it is something beyond our control.
Please be aware that to access the 15% sibling discount, both siblings must be in attendance at the session required.
If accounts fall into a minus, the online system is not able to process any further bookings. Please ensure that your balance is kept up to date so that we can accept your bookings.
If you do require a refund, please contact the school office to discuss.
Please be aware that we do rely on the income to help fund and support our Wraparound Care provision so we kindly ask that parents and guardians make payment when requested by school. If there are any issues with payment, then please contact the school office via schooloffice@stalbans.wirral.sch.uk
Please be aware that our accounts are monitored by our external payments team, and any outstanding balances will be forwarded to the team to follow up. As a school, we will do our best to prevent this and we will try to reach out to parents and guardians to support our families in the best way possible prior to any issues escalating.
