A very warm welcome to F2 at St Alban's Catholic Primary School. We believe that Early Years Education lay the essential foundations for a child's lifelong learning journey. Our aim is to provide every child with a happy, positive, and engaging start to school life. One that nurtures curiosity, independence and a lasting love of learning.

We place great importance on offering a broad range of stimulating experiences, giving children the chance to explore, discover and grow in confidence. Through the encouragement and high expectations, our pupils are supported to reach their full potential, socially, physically, intellectually and emotionally. 

Our carefully planned curriculum ensure that children know more, remember more and build on their learning as they progress through school and beyond.

We follow Little Wandle Phonics scheme.

Reading in Reception- Reading books changed everyday and Phonics books changed on a Friday.

P.E Days

Please send your child in wearing their school PE kit on a Monday and a Friday

Forest school sessions:  Monday afternoon

LUNCHES: All children in Reception receive free school dinners. Please ensure you have chosen your child's lunch via Parent Pay before 8a.m. each day. If there are any problems please drop into the office to speak to staff or email on schooloffice@stalbans.wirral.sch.uk

Key events in Autumn 2

Monday 10th November: INSET DAY- School closes

Tuesday 11th November: Parent Coffee Morning 9am in school Hall. Wirral Mental Health Support Team in attendance.

Friday 14th November: Children in Need - uniform with sportty or stripey accessory

Wednesday 19th November: F2 Open Morning 9:30am and 5:30pm

Friday 21st November: Rudolph Run Assesmbly

Thursday 27th November: F2 Family welcome into school to cuddle and read with a book with your child at 3pm

Friday 28th November: Non Uniform Day for Christmas PTA events

Friday 5th December: Christmas Jumper Day/ PTA gift fair / Rudolph Run

Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th December: F2 Nativity at 2:30pm 

Wednesday 17th December: Christmas Lunch 

Friday 19th December: Class Christmas party- children to come in party clothes. Break up for Chirstmas
